FAQs

Does my business need a website?

Does your business need 24-hour exposure, 7 days a week for 365 days a year? The answer is yes. No other medium allows you to promote all the benefits of your small business to your target market at their convenience, and provide a source of direct correspondence from them to you? The benefits of a website are innumerable.

What type of website do I need?

That depends on it's purpose! If you want to promote your plumbing business, then you only need a micro-site which will showcase your business, contact details and services available. If you want to sell something, you'll need an e-commerce site with a shop front and payment facilities. Whichever type of website you need, create/enable can provide the right website option to suit your personal or business requirements.

Do I need to use a local company?

No, in a word, everything can be done by phone, email or skype.

What do you do?

We build, market  and manage websites, but within that service we also provide copywriting, branding and management services.

How much should I pay?

We suggest you should pay what you can afford, bearing in mind that once you have a website, it will repay the investment again and again. If you consider that print advertising can cost thousands each time you have a promotion, spending £5,000 on a market ready website will save you a significant amount of money whilst better targeting your audience.

What are your prices?

We have a guideline rate which covers all our business costs, but as each project is different we price according to its complexity and the number of specialist services involved, in short, we quote by the job.

Our rate is set against many different factors, including but not exclusive to our location, our competition, the industry standard, the specialist service range and so on. Basically we charge our worth.

Are there any ongoing costs?

All the websites we develop use a content management system (CMS), so unless you're having a website redesigned then the answer is NO. Using a CMS hands the day to day management of a website to the client, therefore avoiding any ongoing web design costs.

How long does it take to build a website?

As mentioned previously, every website is different, so accordingly, delivery times can vary. As a whole, and allowing for prompt receipt of relevant information from a client, we expect to deliver an average, optimized website in about 4 to 8 weeks of the agreed start time. In many respects, this can be reduced further, especially if the website in question is small and uncomplicated.

With regard to e-commerce websites, the timeline will be dependent on the amount of labour involved in implementing the content, creating the payment gateways and testing the websites infrastructure. It is reasonable to expect an e-commerce website to take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks to complete. Unfortunately, as with price, timelines vary depending on the complexity of the website.
